Application for Free School Meals and Pupil Premium
Our school meals are prepared by Sam and Barbs, our wonderful kitchen team from Aspens.
We have chosen the 'Around the World' Menu to offer our children a taste of different foods and normalise different food experiences. It matches our school ethos to be brave and encourages our children to try new foods they may not otherwise come into contact with. We want them to become curious about the world they live in and dream of exploring the places that some of these dishes originate in.
The menu runs on a 3 week rolling programme and includes curry, noodles and tagine alongside the more traditional roast and fish and chips options. Children may choose from a meat or vegetarian option, or a jacket potato. School lunch registers are taken every day, so your child may have a school meal one day and a home packed lunch the next.
If you wish your child to have a school lunch, the menu can be viewed below. Children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school meal every day. If you are in receipt of certain benefits you can apply for free school meals for your child. Please speak to the office. A form to apply for Pupil Premium is available below.
If you pay for your child's lunch, please use Parent Pay. Cash payments will no longer be accepted. The cost of a child's school lunch is, from January 2025, £2.65.
