We have a Volunteer Parent Vacancy on the Local Monitoring Committee ( formerly known as the School Governing Body).
This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that monitors and inputs into the school environment making it better for everyone. Full training is provided and an enhanced DBS is required for all LMC members, paid for by the school. The LMC meets every half term for approx. 1.5hrs
A parent has already applied. However, if there is any other interest then please get in touch with Sharon ( Mrs. Hopkins) in the School Office.

Pendeen Car Park Update
The new road works and traffic calming measures in front of the school are now complete. These will help to make the village safer for our children. We are asking all parents to try to use the church car park on pick up and drop off to free up space in the car park - as the houses opposite the school have lost car parking spaces due to the new traffic calming measures. After parking in the church car park, access will still be via the normal gates - up the gravel path.
